Our small class sizes allow for personalised guidance, helping each student develop a lifelong love of sewing and creativity.
Meet Your Teacher
Hi! I'm Larissa, founder of Sew Curious Studio.
My sewing journey began as a child with an imagination far bigger than my skill level! I understand what it's like to be a beginner with big ideas and I love helping students to build the skills and confidence to turn their own ideas into finished projects.
As a self taught sewist, I developed my skills through years of hands-on practice. Sewing is both my passion and my trade. As an Industrial Sewing Machinist, I have spent over 14 years working in manufacturing, producing specialised products for various companies.
Today, I combine that professional experience with a love of creativity and teaching. I believe we are all lifelong learners. Sewing is a journey of curiosity and creativity, come and learn with me as we build skills together.
